Enhanced Tools for Anti-Islanding Protection Testing. The Pick-Up test tool has been expanded with new modes designed specifically for anti‑islanding protection:
- Voltage Stage 2 and Frequency Stage 2
These modes enable reliable testing of Stage 2 protection functions using a pulse‑ramp technique—preventing unintended activation of Stage 1 elements. - Vector Shift and RoCoF Testing
Test voltage phase angle shifts and rate‑of‑change‑of‑frequency protection with precision, supporting a wider range of DER protection schemes. - Extended Timer & Prefault Settings
These enhancements provide better support for solar sites and applications requiring long trip durations, ensuring compliance with evolving standards.
Customizable PDF Reporting for Professional Documentation. With ARCO Control 1.60, users can now export results directly to PDF, including:
- Detailed event logs
- Timing diagrams
- Choice of A4 or Letter formats
This makes it easier to create, share, and archive complete, polished test reports.
More Flexibility in Locked Test Plans. A major workflow improvement allows users to modify key test parameters within locked test plan mode, including:
- Voltage correction factors
- Phase connections
This flexibility enables quick adaptation to varying system conditions without creating multiple test plan versions—helping teams stay efficient and scalable.
Note: VT and CT ratios remain fixed in locked mode.
