We’re seeking a skilled Calibration and Repair Centre Technician to join our team!
If you are:
- qualified electrical / electronics technician
- strong administrative, organising and meticulous record keeping skills
- a self-starting, passionate and positive individual
- enjoying interacting with and supporting customers
- computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office products
- fluent in English
- based in Cape Town
- metrologist qualification and experience is preferred
- OMICRON product knowledge and experience is preferred
- experience in implementation of quality systems i.e. ISO 9001 / 17025 is advantageous
Your key responsibilities will be:
- run and manage the calibration and repair laboratory for all OMICRON equipment
- maintain the quality management system of Alectrix (Pty) Ltd
- keep service records up to date for all calibration and repairs on equipment
- manage the receiving, checking and dispatching of equipment
- provide support and assistance to the customer support team / back office
